Our short blocks are bored and torque plate honed, main bores checked and if necessary line honed, decked, rotating assembly balanced, thoroughly cleaned, new cam bearings, freeze plugs and oil galley plugs installed, and assembled.  Unless noted, they include a NEW crankshaft, bearings, connecting rods, pistons, rings, a solid or hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, double roller timing set.

Due to the massive pricing increases and poor quality of cores available, we have chosen to now use only BRAND NEW GM engine blocks in our long and short block SBC's.  This does not include Vortec or LT1 blocks which are still readily available and in excellent condition and are 2 bolt blocks with ARP main studs.  We feel that the minor price difference you see will be more than made up for in the quality of the block you are getting.

All prices and brands subject to change without notice. Vortec SBC and LT1 engines use OEM style timing set due to clearance issues with the timing cover and crank sensor.
